Benefits of Joining

There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. By being a member you get a 10% discount from Woodcraft in Lenexa, Schutte Lumber in Kansas City Mo. and Metro Hardwoods in Independence Mo .

We own 11 lathes of different sizes and manufacture and have open turning sessions on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month, as well as the 4th Thursday evening.  Experienced members are usually on hand to answer questions and offer help.

We are an informal group and we have a great time when we get together. Of course we also have a common interest, Woodturning, and we encourage you to share your skills and knowledge with us and we will do the same.

We are committed for 2013 to having nationally known Woodturners in to demonstrate for us.  We will attempt to have one as often as scheduling permits. There will be a modest fee for these programs, and members and guests are welcome.
