We
invite anybody interested in woodturning, or in
learning about woodturning to join. Members are
encouraged to attend meetings and
demonstrations, and to share their skills with
others.

How
Can You Join?
To
join we need a completed application and
membership dues for the first year. Dues are $20
per calendar year, collected at the beginning of
the year. Dues are prorated for members joining
in mid-year. Please contact us for more
information and a copy of the application, or go
to the link on the left and print one out and
mail it in.

Benefits
of Joining
There
are several benefits to becoming a
member of our organization. By being a
member you get a 10% discount from
Woodcraft in Lenexa, Schutte Lumber in
Kansas City Mo. and Metro Hardwoods in
Independence Mo .
We
own 10 lathes of different sizes and
manufacture and have open turning
sessions on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of
every month. Experienced members
are usually on hand to answer questions
and offer help.
We
are an informal group and we have a
great time when we get together. Of
course we also have a common interest,
Woodturning, and we encourage you to
share your skills and knowledge with us
and we will do the same.
We
are committed for 2008 to having 4
nationally known Woodturners in to
demonstrate for us. We will
attempt to have one every 3 months as
scheduling permits. There will be a
modest fee for these programs, and
members and guests are welcome.
